Begun in 2008, rifəlraftər—pronounced riffle/rafter—was designed as an attempt to stifle boredom and expand the boundaries of its creators’ intellectual faculties—that of brothers David and Sam. Through rifəlraftər, each hoped to achieve something fantastic though realistic; profound though unpretentious; and serious though exuberant. As a site dedicated whole-heartedly—and sometimes nonsensically—to the exposition and discussion of literature, art, and culture in general, rifəlraftər is open-source and welcomes any input.
